New Prague Area Arts Council / Dozinky Variety Show

The New Prague Area Arts Council is thrilled to continue a partnership and venture that is sure to bring the community together with a variety of toe-tappin', hand clappin', finger snappin' music concerts. The 3rd annual Music at the Broz summer concert series will be held on the west lawn of The Broz, except for the August 1st concert, which will be held at Memorial Park as part of the “Czech Out New Prague” community event. These free concerts will be held on Thursday evenings and are open to all; bring your blankets and lawn chairs, as seating is first come/first served. Concessions will be available for purchase.

The music line-up is as follows:

• June 13 – New Prague Community Band (Concert band)
• June 20 – Little Chicago (1960s and 1970s pop/rock horn band)
• June 27 – Smisek Brothers and Generations Theatre Company (Classic song harmonies and performing arts/musical theatre)
• July 11 – Echos (Big band)
• July 18 – Feeling Groovy: Simon & Garfunkel Tribute with a Twist (Tribute band)
• July 25 – Solid Gold (Danceable classic rock/variety music)
• August 1 – The Jazz on the Prairie Big Band (Jazz) - - held at Memorial Park as part of Czech Out New Prague community event
• August 8 – Eddie Shimota Band (Polka/waltz)
